65 year old gay dad with his adult daughter The Australian Christian Lobby's (ACL) attempt to remove gay imagery from the streets of Brisbane has backfired tremendously. Not only were the 'Rip & Roll' safe-sex posters re-installed into Brisbane bus shelters after a massive online backlash and international media frenzy protested their removal, but now Goa Billboards (who refused to remove the campaign despite also being pressured by the ACL)and advertising agency BCM have teamed together to create a new anti-homophobia campaign - Embrace Acceptance. The images that will be displayed across Brisbane and hopefully across Australia will include the supposedly controversial Rip & Roll image that was temporarily removed from bus shelters, as well as an image of a 65 year old gay dad with his adult daughter. The images can be seen in Woolloongabba, Kedron, Bowen Hills, and Kangaroo Point.
