. Anna Bligh and the Australian Labor Party have quickly expelled a teenage candidate who was to stand for the seat of Southern Downs at the Queensland election after it emerged that he had posted a number of homophobic blogs. Peter Watson, 19, initially denied being the author of the posts which linked homosexuality to paedophilia but changed his story a day later telling ABC radio that he indeed wrote the posts and that he stood by his comments. "I said that homosexuality and paedophilia were linked because there's been some research done ... and it's been published by the Catholic Church, that suggests that 30 per cent of male paedophiles are homosexual," Mr Watson said. "I made the comments so I do agree." Mr Watson's views came to light when the Courier Mail exposed a number of online rants posted by the aspiring politician. "Homosexuality and paedophilia go hand in hand with each other,” Watson posted. “To deal with one you must deal with the other in order to wipe them from society." The ALP acted quickly to remove Watson and by all reports left Premier Anna Bligh furious. "The views of this man have no place in the ALP. Frankly they are despicable and they have no place in the Australian community," Ms Bligh said. "That's why when these views became known to the party. He was asked to resign and this morning he was expelled. Minister for Communities Karen Struthers was also quick to point out the difference between the action taken by the Labor Party and the inaction of Campbell Newman and the LNP after their Cairns candiadate Gavin King suggested that women who are rape victims were partly to blame for their fate if they were drunk at the time. “Campbell Newman’s inaction stands in stark contrast to the ALP quick action to disendorse former Southern Downs Candidate Peter Watson,” Struthers said. “If Campbell Newman doesn’t have the courage to sack Gavin King, I urge all LNP candidates to do the right thing and call for Mr King to be dumped.'' Newman is on the record as saying he will not sack King "because he's a terrific bloke, he's a family man".

So the other 70% of male paedophiles are straight - so be even more wary of straight men.
His knowledge of logic is way out of whack
HAHAHAHA try that 30% of all humans are homosexual. acording to results. the fact is there is a large number of chathilic priests that are in the group of pedophiles and even with all the evedence against the priests the churches still protect them and they have no charges fines or jail time applyed. these priests continue to work with young children at the churches. I am not saying that all priests are like this however they should deal with their own members before they start blabbing about this stuff.
