Who wants to be a cover boi? Well we would like to find out. QNews has hundreds of offers every year from aspiring models and yet only 26 covers. Each year, however, we hold a competition that is more like a fun version of Miss Universe where anyone can enter. Young old, buff podgy we don’t care, it is all just a bit of fun and the winner can take away some awesome prizes.

It started as per usual at the New Year’s Tropical Fruits recovery pool party but this year we’ve decided to move the comp to a less busy time to give people an excuse to go out at least once over winter. We will also be moving around the state this year to better sample the hunky, fun and interesting guys that exist out there. So on June 10 will be holding the second heat of MrQ at White Wolf. In July we will have fun at Escape bar on the Gold Coast, and in August we will be in Brisbane’s Sporties Hotel with a few other dates soon to be locked in.
