Earlier this month the Gold Coast Gay & Lesbian Business launched their first monthly social event at Escape in the Gold Coast, which coincided with the 300^th Issue party for QNews.

Despite drenching rain and heavy winds there was a successful turn out for the first event. Over 38 like minded business people attended and enjoyed the festivities and networking.

Steve & Jason the proprietors of Escape played host and officially welcomed people to the group launch.

President Brisbane GLBN Troy Quaife spoke congratulated QNews publisher, Ray Mackereth on this amazing achievement and thanked him for his ongoing support for the Gold Coast GLBN as well as many other community groups.
