'Getting on with Business' is certainly one of the things that the Gold Coast does well and now the Coast's LGBT business community have the opportunity for regular networking with the establishment of the Gold Coast Gay & Lesbian Business Network. Over 20 people have already registered their interest.

The establishment of the group comes after Brisbane's GLBN has experienced enormous growth over the last 12 months, building their membership significantly and hosting an impressive line up of successful events. Brisbane's GLBN have offered their support for the new group. 

“We are really excited that there is a fellow business group starting up on the Gold Coast as there is certainly a demand for businesses to network there, especially during these tough economic times,” Brisbane's GLBN president Troy Quaife told QNews.
