New Gay Radio Station for Queensland

.

.

Within a few months a new radio station will be launched that will provide dedicated programming to our community for Queensland and Northern NSW.  The station is yet to be officially named for licensing reasons but will boast 24/7 gay and lesbian radio providing a mixture of genres. There will soon be an announcement calling for all potential programmers to submit ideas for the new and upbeat channel.

QNews has offered to partner with the station that will allow people to verbally communicate their ideas, messages plus provide a range of music from anthems to now.

The idea began in 2010  and after a long and arduous planning stage, the new station will be launched within months.  Already several of Australia's foremost gay and lesbian celebrities have indicated they will offer their support to ensure the success of this much needed venture.

QNews was informed that the new station is technically under wraps whilst negotiations are being finalised and that more details would be available later this month.
