Don't Forget - Hot new web series, The Newtown Girls will launch this 31st of January, and it’s set to be a cracker!

It’s a quirky 10 part series made by Sydney’s Zenowa Flims, based in the queer scene of Newtown, Sydney.

Starring some great Aussie actresses, the cast includes Debra Ades (former Miss World and Miss Universe Australia), Renee Lim and Kylie Watson.

The story centres around Scarlet, a passionate, naïve young lesbian who sets out on a quest to find her soul mate. But like any search for true love, it isn’t all roses in the garden of romance, and Scarlet must overcome the usual obstacles encountered on the road to meet the woman of her dreams. When she returns to the Newtown ‘scene’ she finds herself confronted with ex-girlfriends, unwanted romantic advances from authority figures and a complicated relationship with her best friend, Alex. Like any good romance story, she finally realises that what she has been searching for has been in front of her the whole time! But will she and Alex be able to admit their true feelings for each other before it’s too late?
