Girls Like Me Review by Angela Yin Girls Like Me is the first collection of poetry from Teri Louise Kelly. Her poetry can be best described as raw, sexy and rather intimidating in its brutal honesty. A feature of her collection is that she dates all her poems and they span five years – from 2004 to 2009. Her free verse poems vary from sparse yet full of punch or tumbling masses of descriptive prose. Her incisive observations are riveting and revolve around modern culture, politics, humanity and reality in the 21st Century.
