Since November, an album release called ‘Re-Wiggled’ has been placed in all music stores for all to purchase. What does that entail you might think?

The album cover certainly does not look like it’s child inviting but distinct with its red, blue, yellow, purple head silhouettes…

Ok I’ll tell you! It’s the 20th anniversary of the Wiggle’s existence, so ABC have organised a tribute album featuring Australian bands collaborating producing their interpretations of Wiggle hit classics. Bahahahahah!!! How intriguing and genius.

This album release will feature covers by Washington, The Living End, Jebediah, Architecture In Helsinki, Adalita, Bluejuice, Frenzal Rhomb and Spiderbait. All of these artists previously mentioned more than likely had The Wiggle’s tunes featured in their childhood when growing up that it only makes sense that this amount of feedback was generated when the idea for ‘Re- Wiggled’ was put out there. Excitement for sure and a great listen allowing adults to still get their dance on to these tracks like they did in their adolescents. A great gotcha gift for sure!
