Well, if she wasn’t animated enough before, now Gaga will put another notch on her ever notchful belt, with a guest appearance on our favourite family show, The Simpsons. The rumour mill is going so fast that it may just fall off its hinges before the show even hits our screens, so we’ll just expect the unexpected when Gaga hits Springfield. Sources report that after learning that Lisa Simpson is suffering from low self-esteem, Gaga goes to town in an attempt to cheer her up with some kind words, a song, and of course, a flash mob.

Gaga is over the moon about her Simpsons sojourn, saying: “I would say this is one of the coolest thing's I've ever done. My dad's probably going to do 80 back flips when the episode comes out.” Executive Producer Al Jean is as excited as the rest of us to have Gaga on the show. “For the first time in the history of The Simpsons, we are honoured to have on a show business legend who is younger than our show.”
