A GAY OLD TIME ON THE GOLD COAST

Gold Coast Gay Day is coming to Parklands Showgrounds on the Gold Coast on the 2nd of May.
Headlining this year’s event is Kate Cook from Australian Idol. Organisers are also pleased to announce boy band funky pop rockers Big Book Fantasy!
The full line up for Gold Coast Gay Day should be available soon but organisers can also confirm the Rosie Burgess Trio are performing, as well as multiple award-winning singer/songwriter, Mish.

Gold Coast Gay Day is a festival for the LGBT community and their friends and family. The fair day style event will cater for any weather conditions utilising a large pavilion and covered areas as well as having the perfect outdoor setting.
Once again there will be heaps happening on the day with many stalls, face painting, jumping castle, the legendary play dough competition, great indoor and outdoor entertainment. Liz Collett Line Dancing troops will also be performing with some audience participation on the day for those wanting to kick up their heels and join in the fun.
After the success of last year’s hot bods competition, the committee has announced the return of the event for this year’s event.
Another addition to this year’s event will be the Mailbox where you can secretly pass on messages to others who have a Mailbox number.
There will be a variety of food and beverage on the day and the event is licensed with two bar areas.
A huge second-hand book stall is planned as a fundraiser for the event and donations are being accepted from the committee to boost the variety of books.
