BRISBANE LOCAL JOINS CHICAGO CAST
CHRIS DAIR (pictured) is one of three Brisbane performers who will appear in the new Australian production of CHICAGO. Chris was chosen from more than 1000 dancers, who auditioned all around the country. Chris began his training at the Conroy Dance Centre, moving to Melbourne to train fulltime.
He has worked in commercial dance, fashion and television and made his musical theatre debut in Saturday Night Fever. After working overseas, Chris returned to Australia dancing with comedian Pam Ann on The Pam Ann Show, which premieres next month on The Comedy Channel on Foxtel. Rehearsals are well underway in Melbourne, where Chris joins leads Caroline O'Connor, Sharon Millerchip, Craig McLachlan and Gina Riley.
CHICAGO tells the tale of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who dreams of headlining in Vaudeville, kills her lover, then convinces her husband to come up with the $5000 to hire Chicago's shrewdest, smooth talking lawyer Billy Flynn.
