BRISBANE PRIDE 2010: LOVE OUR WAY

Brisbane Pride Festival has announced that the theme for the 2010 Brisbane Pride Festival is Love Our Way, and is inviting community groups, businesses and individuals to submit an application to hold an event as part of the month long festival to be held in June.
Last year saw 88 events shape the largest Brisbane Pride Festival on record, ranging from movie nights, cabarets, historical tours to the Pride Fair Day itself and dance parties.
The only stipulations that the organisers ask is that events must relate to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex community culture, and thought to include the theme of Love Our Way would be appreciated.
Events can be organised to be held on any day(s) of the week between Sunday 1st June and Monday 30th June, and events can run for a period of time (Theatre performance that runs on consecutive nights or an event that happens on a specific day of each week) or just be a one off event.
All event applications must be received by the 2nd April 2010.  Brisbane Pride Festival advises that No guarantees can be made that your event will make the 2010 Pride Guide if submitted after this.
