As a part of youth week, Open Doors, Griffith Uni and QAHC have joined forces to host Queeriosity, a free queer youth extravaganza of art, music, culture and community. Queeriosity is created by, and for, sexually & gender diverse young people, under 25.
This event will showcase performances and entertainment from across the artistic spectrum including DJ Ish, Edge Of Colour, Anarchist Duck, Kristy Apps, Evelyn Hartogh and the Open Doors Showcase.
Workshops on offer include Queer Skateboarding Classes, Stencil Art Workshop, Circus Performance, Badge-making, Zine-making, plus a Gender Forum.
In addition to this, a marketplace of community stalls will be on display, enabling local queer/queer-friendly organisations and services the opportunity to make themselves known to all attendees.
And, if your taste buds require further tantalising... a free meat/vego BBQ feast will also be on offer, with soft-drink beverages available throughout the day.
