An incandescent evening of Australian circus artists and Gypsy diablerie. Sparks fly when Eastern European roustabouts Doch are joined by a stellar ensemble of Australian circus artists in a bright, brash revel. Combining high-spirited musical hi-jinks this brand new show is a must-see.
This year Doch and the Circus are adding new twists to the old arts. MC’d with bravado and impeccable style by Doch’s formidable front man and trumpet player, Michael Rogers, look forward to high altitude arials, awe-inspiring acrobatics and the hypnotising Roue Cyr.
Part madness, part mayhem and part musical epiphany, Brisbane-based Doch is widely regarded for its passion and virtuosity. The 10-piece band consisting of violin, trumpet, banjo, clarinet, accordion, percussion, tuba, guitars and double bass combine to create Balkan gypsy rhythms that both serenade and surprise.
In their own right the musicians and the circus artists are spectacular. Join their talents and it promises two hours of high-energy action and fun the whole family will enjoy.
