Gold Coast Gay Day is HOTTING UP!!!

The final countdown for Gold Coast Gay Day is underway! The day will be jam packed with lots of fun, interesting stalls, a HOT BODZ competition, jumping castles, motor cart rides, for the Chill Out Tent there will be a giant X-Box machine and great entertainment all day!

As already announced, Emily Williams who was a runner up in Australian Idol and former member of the Young Divas is headlining the entertainment for the day. Other artists appearing are Kristy Apps, Lecia who will be launching her new CD, Nyssa Berger, Tiffany Cornell, Hayley Young plus a huge DJ line up with RJ Sims, Dene James, Les Smith, Laszlo K, Kylie Rose, DJ Elektropanda, DJ Vous, Miss Angelic, DJ Denny and JAS.

The day will be hosted by two of the Gold Coast's famous icons Trixie O Nassis and Nana Rama Licious.

QNews is the primary sponsor of Gold Coast Gay Day with other sponsors being MP's night club and QAHC. MP's will be giving free entry to the Gold Coast Gay Day After Party for those who bring their entry tags along from the event.

Gold Coast Gay Day has also nominated Care For Life suicide prevention as the charity that will receive a donation from each entry on the day.

Gold Coast Gay Day is on the 3rd of May at Firth Park Mudgeeraba. Gates open from 10am. The event is for the LGBT community and their friends and families and will have a fair day atmosphere with something for everyone. Firth Park is an all weather venue so we play rain or shine!

Things are powering ahead for what looks set to be the very best GCGD ever.  
The talent is second to none including the sensational Emily Williams  (of Australian Idol fame - yes the one with big talent)..  
There is more than just a big stage all day performance with seperate dance areas, stalls, and heaps of space.

Remember this event is also a family afair so games, jumping castles, a very camp sausage sizzle plus more will keep the young ones entertained while the dance hall is set to pack out with party people.  The list of entertainers and DJs is huge and a big step forward for the Gold Coast. The setting at  the Firth Park Sporting Complex, Mudgeeraba means there is heaps of space to either sit and enjoy or get amongst it and dance with the hot Gold Coast  party set for those who like to stomp their feet or wiggle.

GCGD always attracts a great diversity of people from our community including the hot surfy types men and women.  For families under 12s are free and the event is fully licensed with ID required for those who drink alcohol. (No BYO)
