Gold Coast Gay Day Entertainment Announced

Gold Coast Gay Day organisers have made their first entertainment lineup announcement for the May 3rd event. The occasion is set to showcase local talent and keep event goers busy for over 8 hours jam packed with live entertainment.

The entertainment program includes singers and instrumentalists such as Kristy Apps, Nyssa Berger, Tiffany Cornell and Lecia, the Drag Queens Lisa Mann, Martini Ice and Sky Blue, DJs Les Smith, Dene James, RJ Smith and Laslo K. The event will be hosted by MP's vivacious Queens Nana Rama Licious and Trixie Onassis.

Gold Coast Gay Day will also serve as the launch pad for singer, song writer and guitarist, Lecia, who will be launching her album Into Being at the event.

“I'm excited to be launching my album at Gold Coast Gay Day; It's a fantastic idea” Lecia told QNews.

While the preliminary lineup has been announced, Gold Coast Gay Day Committee member, Roni Schmutch said there's still room for more singers, instrumentalists, DJs and performers.

“If anyone out there wants to be part of the entertainment we want to hear from you,” said Roni.

A percentage of each ticket through the gate at Gold Coast Gay Day will be donated to suicide prevention association, Care For Life.

Gold Coast Gay Day will be held on the 3rd of May at Firth Park, Mudgeeraba from 11am.
