LET THE MINCING BEGIN

Comedian, compare and commentator extraordinaire JULIAN CLARY will soon be springing his latest hit show on unsuspecting Brisbane audiences when he returns for his 7th Australian Tour (six years since his last) bringing his brand new show, LORD OF THE MINCE, to town in April.

“I, Julian Clary, have done for mincing what Michael Flatley did for Irish dancing. But has the bottom fallen out of the homosexual meat market? I must tour my kingdom to find out... In these difficult times I feel I should go and comfort my people in the provinces. My friend Damien tells me the men are very hard up in Brisbane. I only hope I’m not too late.”

Since graduating from university in the 80’s, Julian Clary has gone on to become one of England’s most recognisable entertainers, and during his 25 years in show business has turned his hand to comedy, acting, presenting, and writing.

Julian is best known in Australia for his television shows Terry and Julian and the cult hit Sticky Moments on the ABC. His autobiography, A Young Man’s Passage, was published in June 2006 and quickly became a Sunday Times bestseller.

Needless to say Julian Clary can’t wait to be here. Dress code is smart but casual, although the usual rules about corduroy trousers still apply.
