Mr Q- Search for a Cover Boi is back and this time is
looking for contestants from the Sunshine Coast. After
a hugely successful heat in Cairns late last year, the Mr Q
competition is seeking out the hottest guys from all around
Queensland, with the Final to be held at Big Gay Day.
The Sunshine Coast heat will take place during the new
Sunshine Coast sensation- PINK PINEAPPLE PARTY to be held
at The Sands Tavern, Maroochydore on Saturday 14 February.
Mr Q- Search for a cover Boi has become one of the biggest
events on the gay calendar and this year there is more reason
to enter than ever before. Thanks to Domayne Fortitude
Valley, this year’s prize pool is worth in excess of $11,000.
The main prize includes a huge $10,000 spending spree at
Domayne plus time with their design fashion consultants
from Domayne Fortitude Valley to help redecorate part of
your abode.
Guys of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to enter as
this is a fun competition that is inclusive not exclusive. In any
year, QNews has a diverse range of cover people including a
wide range of ages, shape, sizes and ethnic backgrounds, but
there are only 26 covers every year and a lot of competition
to be on them.
PINK PINEAPPLE has a theme of Beachball and if it is anything
like their last party, it will be hot, hot hot! The Sunshine
Coast comes alive and there is a great range of people who
are attracted to this event. DJs Corey Czock and Les Smith
make a sensational team and there is always lots of eye candy
including heaps of surfy boys and chicks that form part of our
community.
