No love match for Navratilova
The former girlfriend of tennis player Martina Navratilova is threatening to reveal her “dirty laundry” if she does not receive a settlement for being in a relationship for eight years, the New York Post reported.
"There are a lot of skeletons in Martina's closet. It is more like a storage facility full of them, and I know them all,” said former girlfriend Toni Layton who left her husband, Jeffrey Lambert, for Navratilova.
Martina's ex-lover is claiming to have helped Martina with her career throughout their relationship. Layton has been trying to strike a deal with Martina's lawyers for a year now, but they are threatening to publicly humiliate her.
Still, they did offer her 200,000 dollars for the eight years of the relationship during which she took care of the tennis player 24 hours a day and helped her achieve her sports success.
Toni thinks that such a low offer from the billionaire is an insult and that Navratilova is taking advantage of the fact that the state of Florida does not recognise same-sex marriages. The lesbian couple ended their relationship a year ago after a heated argument in their Florida home.
After Navratilova asked Toni to get out of her life, Toni is prepared to reveal to the media everything that happened in their private lives.
Martina Navratilova's spokespersons refused to comment on the issue, stressing simply that this was a private matter.
