Queensland Ballet kicks off their 2009 subscription season tonight with their very popular Vis-à-vis Studio Series. You are invited to discover the secrets behind the polished technique and artistry you see in Queensland Ballet performances, and enjoy dance, up-closeand- personal, in the intimate studio at the Thomas Dixon Centre. Exploring a particular theme in each program, Artistic Director François Klaus offers you his distinctive insights into the art of dance, illustrating his points with a series of short works.
A pot-pourri of dance, from worksin- progress and new creations by emerging choreographers to classical pieces, the popular Vis-àvis Studio Series is always informative and entertaining.
