WEST END FILM FESTIVAL
The inaugural West End Film Festival is currently seeking Australian short
films from all genres including drama, documentary, animation and
music clips.
Screening in March 2010 at the Rumpus Cinema, the West End Film Festival will showcase the efforts of Australian filmmakers and bring alternative short films to one of Queensland’s most vibrant arts communities.
The festival is encouraging queer, aboriginal, political, punk, experimental and creative filmmakers to enter their work with no age limit on the film – meaning that if you have an unscreened film it will still be welcomed, even if it was created some time ago.
All films received will be in the running for cash prizes and the opportunity to screen in front of hundreds of people at the festival. The films will be judged by a panel of industry professionals and West End community representatives.
To enter your film, please download an entry form from
www.westendfilmfestival.com.au by the end of January.
