Courtney Act Needs An MTV Co-Host For Mardi Gras, And It Could Be You

Do you have what it takes to be an MTV VGay?

From Saturday February 25, MTV Dance will become MTV Pride for a weeklong celebration of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

And they’re on an Australia-wide hunt for a guest VGay to join resident VGay and drag star Courtney Act throughout the week.

“I’m on the hunt to find MTV’s next sparkling VGay, someone who’d like to come on air and have a ball with me hosting a countdown of all their favourite songs for MTV Pride,” Courtney said.

“I can’t wait to see all your fabulous entries!”

This year’s Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras officially starts on February 17 with over 80 events over two weeks, including the Mardi Gras Parade on March 4.

To enter MTV’s competition, send a 30 second video in the form of a Wetransfer link or YouTube video to [email protected] explaining why you want to host MTV Pride with Courtney.

The successful VGay will win return flights to Sydney and two nights accommodation in addition to hosting the music countdown with Courtney.

Entries close on Friday February 10. For more information, visit MTV.com.au/Pride.
