BRISBANE’S NEWEST GAY NIGHT –WED @ THE LOFT WEST END -OVER $4k RAISED FOR AMEQUAILTY

Brisbane has a funky new up-market chilled out gay night, every Wednesday night at The Loft, right in the heart of West End.

After a soft opening last week which saw over 50 people show up despite the thunder and lightning, Equality night at The Loft is back tonight and every Wednesday night.  There is a balcony area and a range of craft beers on tap. The perfect after work chillout and groove zone to have a few drinks with friends, or maybe an affordable meal that you can eat upstairs.

The evening is called Equality, and sees DJ Soulchild mix funky grooves while the bar serves up tasty treats, and we as a community get together and raise some money in a really classy venue.

Each week a particular drink is offered which for every purchase will see The Loft donate money to Australian Marriage Equality.  @AMEQUALITY  Loft management have set a target of raising $50,000 and have raised over $4,000 in their first week alone from drink donations and from approaching local businesses to support equality.

Equality is held every Wednesday at The Loft West End, 100 Boundary St, West End from 6:00 pm – late. There will also be a big launch party at the beginning of October so keep an eye out for details.
